3 Harriers took part in the Beacon Hill Fell Race, organised by Northumberland Fell Runners, on Thursday 12th July. Bruce CROMBIE, Andy SQUIRES and Mark HUME competed in this 6 mile race, which includes 1500 feet of ascent. Bruce finished a superb 3rd in 56.00, Andy 25th in 1.05.57 and Mark 66th in 1.54.41.

On Saturday 14th July 2 Harriers took part in the Newcastle Parkrun. Phil BASTON knocked a massive 44 seconds off his previous 5k pb finishing 95th in 22.00. Meanwhile Charlotte BASTON also had a decent run finishing 147th of the 248 runners in 24.30.
Finally on Sunday 15th July 3 Harriers took part in the Run Northumberland organised Prudhoe Miners Race. The 5 mile hilly race took place in unusually warm weather for this July (approx 13c). David NOLAN was the first Harrier home, whilst Gay and Richard EASTOE also took part with Gay winning the female 55 category. Results:
