Sunderland City Half Marathon and 10k/Cheviot and Hedgehope Pendulum/Keswick Half Marathon/Druridge Bay Parkrun/Ayr Parkrun/Workington Parkrun/Whitley Bay Parkrun/Sheffield Hallam Parkrun/Durham Parkrun

5 Harriers took part in the Sunderland City Half Marathon on Sunday May 1st, the latest of the 2016 Grand Prix races. Billed as flat and fast this one lap scenic course certainly delivered with some exceptional performances by Harriers. First of our runners across the line in a new half marathon pb time was Richard JOHNSON, clocking an excellent 1.24.25, the fastest 13.1 miles of the year so far! Next in and knocking 8 minutes off his previous best was Dean STACKHOUSE in a superb 1.29.09, an exceptional time considering Dean has not long returned to training following injury. Not far behind was Tim FALCONER in 1.33.41, Paul GODDEN in 1.34.16 and Keith SHOTTON in 1.54.30. An excellent reflection of the training and dedication by athletes in Graham and Mikes Wednesday marathon group.
