Workington Parkrun/Riverside Parkrun/Druridge Bay Parkrun/Durham Parkrun/Gala Cross Country

Many congratulations to the husband and wife team of Gay and Richard EASTOE who took part in their 100th parkrun on Saturday 13th February; an amazing feat! The pair tackled their home parkrun at Workington and finished together in 26.27, with Richard coming 34th and Gay 35th. Well done guys!

However the fastest parkrun of the day by a Harrier came at the Riverside event in Chester le Street, and was courtesy of Dominic HARRIS. In form Dom clocked 19.37 to finish a decent 10th.

Closest to home a decent number of Harriers were in action at Druridge Bay. Dean STACKHOUSE was 1st Harrier across the line in 4th place in 20.10. Laura STUBBINGS was making her parkrun debut and clocked 22.10 to finish 2nd female. This is the fastest 5k by a female Harriers so far this year! There was also a good run by David HENDERSON, whilst Mark HUME was 1st in the male 70 category!

Finally Kirsty STEED was at the Durham parkrun where she completed the 5k in 36.45 to finish 314th.

The following day Adam FLETCHER took part in the last of the Borders Cross Country races of the season, hosted by Gala Harriers. Adam finished a fine 18th and was 2nd in the male 50 category on the day. In the overall standings Adam was a brilliant 3rd in his age group. Well done Adam!
