Brass Monkey Half Marathon/Carlisle Resolution 10k/Durham Cathedral Cross Country Relays/Workington Parkrun/South Shields Parkrun/Durham Parkrun

Well done to Dominc HARRIS who knocked yet more time off his half marathon personal best at the fast, flat and very popular Brass Monkey Half Marathon on Sunday 17th January. Doms previous best had come at the Aviemore Half Marathon in October, though he’s continued to train hard throughout the winter and knocked just under a minute off to clock 1.27.52. He finished a good 223rd of over 1500 runners. Great work Dom!

Over in Cumbria Gay EASTOE was the winner of the female 60 category at the Carlisle Resolution 10k, finishing 152nd in 55.56. Husband Richard was 1 place and 1 second ahead.

Also that day 5 male Harriers took part in the Durham Cathedral Cross Country Relays. Times are yet to be posted for the Veteran category as yet, though they’ll be posted here asap. 3 Veteran Women also travelled to the course but sadly didn’t make it in time!
