The following day 2 Harriers travelled to foreign parts to take part in marathons, with Pauline AITCHSION in the USA and John ROSS in Germany. Pauline tackled the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC, a scenic marathon which takes in some of the iconic sights of the capital such as the Jefferson Memorial and Arlington Cemetery! Despite missing the start and ending up with the fun runners Pauline was very happy with her 3.51.16. Meanwhile closer to home John ROSS took part in the Frankfurt Marathon, finishing in 4.40.45.
