Back on Sunday 2nd August Shelley COATES took part in the inaugural Clennell Trail Marathon, a gruelling 28.5 mile challenge set in the Cheviot Hills. The course is described as ‘tough but exhilarating’ and Shelley had to negotiate some steep uphill sections as well as some tricky rocky descents. In a field of 61 runners Shelley finished 15th female and 42nd overall. Well done Shelley on a momentous achievement!
