Two Harriers took part in the gruelling Hadrians Wall Half Marathon on Sunday, 5th June. The fact that the winner completed the course in just over 1.34 showed how difficult this race was. John ROSS ran well yet again to finish 24th and third in the male 50 category in 2.02.30. Mel STEER finished third in the female 40 category in 2.09.39 in 35th place.
Meanwhile just over the border Mike HENRY took part in the Norham RC organised Yetholm Hill Race. He finished 132nd in a time of 1.36.59 in this race which covers 8 miles and climbs about 2500 feet.
