Clive Cookson 10k/Lambfoot Loop 10k

13 Harriers took part in the latest Alnwick Harriers Grand Prix event on Wednesday, 23rd May. Held in hot and sunny conditions the North Shields Poly organised Clive Cookson 10k is well known for its quick times on this two lap course. First home for us was Bruce CROMBIE in 24th place, followed by Jim LILLICO who finished 57th winning the male 50 category in the process. Helen JONES was third Harrier home in 119th place followed by David HINDMARSH racing just a few days after taking part in the Druridge Bay Marathon on Sunday. Full Harrier results:

With 5 events gone and numerous marathons under Harriers belts Phil LEE leads the way followed by John ROSS, Bruce CROMBIE, Anne ALLAN and Vee POLLOCK. Still plenty to play for with the next event the Druridge Bay 10k on Sunday, 3rd June.

The day before Gay and Richard EASTOE were once again flying the Harrier flag in Cumbria, taking part in the undulating Lambfoot Loop 10k, organised by Cockermouth club Derwent AC. Gay finished 56th in 1.00.22, with Richard one place and one second further back
