There was another excellent performance from Bruce CROMBIE in New Years Days’ Hillforts and Headaches race at Rothbury. Bruce completed the 3 mile course which takes in 1020 feet of ascent in 24.42 to finish 7th of the 84 runners. Also well done to Mike HENRY who won the male 60 category finishing 39th. Andy SQUIRES and Kim BRONZE also took part, whilst it was great to see both John COCKBURN and Jacquie MOSCROP back in action for the Harriers. Full Alnwick results:

Meanwhile further south two Harriers took part in the Morpeth 11k, with Cris ATWELL finishing 65th in 48.40 and Shelley COATES finishing 123rd in 68.41.
David NOLAN rounded off a great year with another good performance at the Newcastle Parkrun on Saturday 31st December. David was 23rd of the 255 competitors finishing the 5k course in 19.28, just missing out an a pb.
