Grand Prix Update

Since the last update we have had 3 chances to score:
A first of the month parkrun with a good Harriers turn out at both Alnwick and Druridge.
The Duergar NightCrawler with 10 Harriers attending. The race took place on a shortened course due  severe weather conditions on the night. Jon Archer was the first Harrier home in 6th place in an impressive 1:25 closely followed by Ian Simon in 9th place at 1:26 giving Ian the best WAVA score of the Harriers at the event of 62.11%
And the Brough Law fell race which attracted 4 harriers. From seasoned fell aficionados to first time fell racers. Bruce Crombie was the first Harrier home in 13th place at 45:21.
The three events have generated some movement at the top of the table.  Jennifer Knight jumps to the number 1 spot with 162.05 points, Linda Patterson remains  in the number 2 spot with 155.89 points both on 3 events but Ian Simon moves up to take the 3 place spot with 134.43 points but from only 2 events.
Unfortunately we may have to wait quite a while before any racing can resume.  Once things begin to improve, we will look to see what races are about and what can be done.
Stay safe everyone.
