Athlete of the Year
Diana Weightman – Diana has achieved some memorable age graded scores this year and represents the Club superbly. Her Grand Prix victory, clinched with a superb run at the Run Northumberland 10 Miler, capped a great season. She never bothers with her times but just races people around her and always gives it all. Her parkrun time this year as a v55 is faster than that of 7 years ago as a v45. She also won her age category at the George Ogle, the Bridges of the Tyne 5 Miler and at the Kielder 10k – all three being high quality prestigious races.
