The fixtures for next year’s Alnwick Harriers Grand Prix have been announced.
The competition will feature a mix of races across different terrains and distances. A total of your six best WAVA scores from the following four groups will count towards your overall total.
GROUP ONE – Any Alnwick parkrun
Club vests need not be worn. The last race to count run will be December 7, 2019.
GROUP TWO – Up to 10k
Your best two WAVA scores will count from:
Druridge Bay 10k
Bridge Of Tyne 5 miles
GROUP THREE- Endurance
Your best two WAVA scores will county from:
Sunderland Half Marathon
Coquet (Rothbury) Half Marathon
Great North Run
Haltwhistle Half Marathon
Brampton to Carlisle 10 miles
Northumberland 10 miles
GROUP FOUR – Off-road
Your best WAVA score from:
Thornley Hall Farm, Peterlee (North Eastern Harrier League)
George Ogle Memorial Race
Alwinton Show Fell Race
Anne Allan Memorial Race
Club trip (to be confirmed)
