Grand Prix Standings After Morpeth 10k

Many thanks to John ROSS for crunching the numbers after the Morpeth 10k on Tuesday night. In the latest Grand Prix standings the new leader is Ian SIMON. He is ahead of fellow Amble-ites Jason DAWSON, Tracey SAMPLE and Dominic HARRIS. Allan FOGGON is down to 5th from 1st, whilst Cris ATWELL is up to 6th from 9th. Tim FALCONER is down to 7th from 3rd, Louise CALLAGHAN has leapt from 13th to 8th and James WILLOUGHBY has stormed into the trophy winning slots in 9th place. Jo GASCOIGNE-OWENS is hanging on in there in 10th, with Ian STEPHENSON and John CUTHBERT the other 2 current trophy positions holders. Here’s the standings:

Alnwick Harriers Grand Prix Standings After Morpeth 10k

The next Grand Prix events are as follows:

Saturday 11th August-Haddington Half Marathon. This event is now closed for entries!

Sunday 2nd September-Anne Allan 10k Coquet Trail Race. In memory of our club legend this is the 2nd running of this scenic though tough trail race. Entries are open here

Saturday 15th September-Thropton Show Fell Race. Entries are only available on the day and cost an extortionate £2! This is a 6.8 mile race with 1148feet of ascent, which starts at 2.30pm.

Sunday 28th October-Run Northumberland Hexham 10k. Entries are being taken for the final 10k in the 2018 Grand Prix series.

Sunday 18th November-Brampton to Carlisle 10 Miler. We will be laying on a bus for this event and will be entering a block booking. So there is no need to enter this race yet. More info will be on this website in a couple of weeks time.
