On a fairly quiet weekend for the club Dominic HARRIS ran really well at the Tynedale Harriers organised Jelly Tea 10 Miler. Of the 155 runners Dom was 13th in a splendid 1.02.57.
Slightly further along the Tyne Valley Justine NORMAN was in action at the Haltwhistle Half Marathon. Justine finished 113th in a personal best at this distance of 1.54.23.
Finally for Sunday, whilst on her holidays, Alice TETLEY-PAUL ran yet another superb race to finish 2nd female in the Potsdamer Herbstlauf 9k in Germany. Alice was 12th overall in 38.49!
The previous day Adam FLETCHER was our 1st runner across the line at the Druridge Bay Parkrun. He was 7th overall in 18.48 and was winner of the male 50 category. One place behind him was Jon ARCHER in a 5k pb, whilst John CUTHBERT was our 3rd runner home amazingly failing to get a pb! Other highlights included Jackie PROUSE winning the female 45 category, whilst Junior Harrier Harris HALL dipped under 24 minutes to gain a pb.
