Hardmoors 60/Newcastle Parkrun/Hatfield Forest Parkrun/Stratford Upon Avon Parkrun/Haigh Woodland Parkrun/Workington Parkrun/Faelledparken Parkrun/Thropton Show Fell Race/Copenhagen Half Marathon

Andy STEPHENSON was up bright and early on Saturday 16th September to tackle the gruelling Hardmoors 60. This is a 60 miles race on the coast from Guisborough to Filey, taking in the beautiful Cleveland Coast, through Saltburn, Runswick Bay, Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar, Scarborough and into the finish location, the seaside resort of Filey. By completing this one Andy has done all the Hardmoors races from 30 to 110 miles! In horrid conditions where 2 people ended up in hospital and there were many non finishers Andy finished 108th in 16.36.55.

The following day John ROSS was once again in half marathon action, this time the Copenhagen Half Marathon. There was heavy rain and storms which forced the abandonment of the event, though thankfully John had finished in 2.06.16!

Photos are of Andy STEPHENSON enjoying some soup (leek and potato?), Dominic HARRIS at Newcastle, Adam FLETCHER at the Thropton Show and Sheona DUFFY/Shaun LAND at Druridge Bay.
