Hadrians Wall Half Half Marathon/Welwyn 10k/Eildon Hill Race/Druridge Bay Parkrun/Lancaster Parkrun/Workington Parkrun/Chippenham Parkrun

Many congratulations to Jo GASCOIGNE-OWENS for finishing 1st lady at the Hadrians Wall Half Marathon on Sunday 25th June. Not only did she comfortably win, but her time of 1.30.24 was a female course record in this really tough race. Jo was 6th overall in a field of nearly 340. Also well done to Nell GAIR who completed the route in 2.56.29.

Another Saturday, another win for Carole PAGE at the Druridge Bay Parkrun! Slightly slower than last week, a time of 21.34 was easily good enough to win the female race once again. 2nd female finisher was Angie EMBLETON in a time of 23.12, whilst Mel STEER was 1st female 45 and Tania CONWAY ran well on her course debut. For the men Richard JOHNSON was 2nd home in a brilliant course pb of 17.42. James WILLOUGHBY also ran a course best, 19.04, whilst Peter GREY was winner of the male 55 age group.
