Following on from a club record by Jo GASCOIGNE-OWENS and the fastest 10k of the year for the club by Dan LENG in midweek, Saturday 9th July saw our quickest 5k of the year! Steve CARRAGHER took part in the Druridge Bay Parkrun and blasted round in a brilliant 16.58 to win the race by a decent margin. Steves time was the fastest 5k by a Harrier since 2013. Dominic HARRIS continued his amazing improvement by notching a course best of 18.55 to finish 5th. Ian HORSLEY was the 3rd Harrier across the line, whilst Ian ATHERTON was winner of the male 60 category.
